Job Description: Sustainability Management Intern
As a Sustainability Management Intern at Hallmark, you’ll gain exposure to various aspects of the company’s sustainability initiatives. This includes:
• Product and Packaging Development: Understanding the sustainability considerations within Hallmark’s product creation and packaging processes.
• Sustainability Legislation: Learning about and navigating relevant environmental regulations.
• Sustainability Reporting: Contributing to the reporting of Hallmark’s sustainability performance.
• Supply Chain Processes: Gaining insight into the company’s global supply chain and its impact on sustainability.
You will work on impactful projects directly addressing Hallmark’s business needs. This involves utilizing your business acumen and problem-solving skills to:
• Understand Hallmark’s sustainability priorities and project goals.
• Conduct research and develop strategies.
• Create and potentially implement feasible solutions.
The internship focuses on emission reduction and environmental targets, offering a challenging opportunity to present your work and recommendations to senior leaders and business partners. The internship is a 12-week, on-site program at Hallmark’s Kansas City headquarters (renovated building). Relocation and housing assistance are available for those outside the KC metro area.
