Job Description:

Job Title: Survey Intern (Summer Internship Program)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Overview:
This is a summer internship program within American Structurepoint’s Survey Group. The Survey Intern will gain hands-on experience both in the field and in the office. This involves assisting with field measurements alongside the survey crew, and supporting research, drafting, and data processing tasks in the office. Interns will work closely with experienced surveyors and technicians to learn the entire survey process from start to finish, contributing to projects that shape communities.

Responsibilities:
• Help research property boundaries and determine accurate property lines for surveying and engineering projects.
• Prepare important survey deliverables such as research reports, drafted exhibits, control reports, and processed survey data.
• Work closely with a team of professional surveyors and technicians, learning from experts and contributing to real projects.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled students majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Surveying, Structural Engineering, or related programs focused on Civil Engineering.
• Experience with Civil3D and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
• Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license for travel between sites.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges.
