Job Description: Supply Chain Undergraduate Internship – Sourcing

This 10-12 week summer internship offers you the chance to join AT&T’s Supply Chain Sourcing team and contribute to the company’s strategic sourcing goals. You will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

Negotiating large strategic deals: You will assist in negotiating deals worth over $10 million annually, learning the intricacies of contract negotiation and leveraging market intelligence.
Managing the end-to-end sourcing process: From RFP creation to contract execution, you will be involved in every step of the sourcing process, gaining valuable experience in competitive bidding and strategic procurement.
Developing financial models: You will learn to build and analyze financial models to determine the best business cases for deals and compare various vendor offerings.
Leading quality projects: You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects focused on improving efficiency and quality within the Supply Chain department.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will work closely with different teams within AT&T, developing your teamwork and communication skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date on market intelligence to support effective negotiations.
• Assist in the establishment and administration of business unit policies, procedures, and systems.
• Interpret contractual terms and conditions, taking appropriate actions when needed (e.g., termination letters, breach notifications).

Required Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Graduation date: Spring 2026.
Experience managing RFP processes and utilizing competitive bid tools (e.g., RFQ, Reverse Auction).
Financial model development experience, including PMO (present mode of operation) and FMO (future mode of operation).
Ability to analyze complex issues requiring in-depth evaluations of variable factors.
Experience leading quality projects (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, TL9000).
Business law experience or education, including coursework in Business Associations, Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Dispute Resolution, Antitrust, Corporate Tax, and Intellectual Property.
Proven negotiation skills with strong abilities to influence others and negotiate pricing using benchmarking and cost tools.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate technical subject matter clearly.
Strong external business partner relationship management experience.
