Global Supply Chain Rotational Program | Weber Blackstone

This is an early career, full-time rotational program at Weber Blackstone, with rotations based in Palatine, IL, Huntley, IL, and/or Elgin, IL. • Pay: $73500 yearly
• Team: Participants rotate through key areas of the Supply Chain & Operations organization over a two-year period, taking on full-time responsibilities within functional departments and completing strategic projects with leadership.
• Mission: To develop future leaders by providing comprehensive experience across core supply chain functions and preparing them for accelerated leadership roles within the broader organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Supply and Production Planning: Manage inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods, schedule manufacturing production, and collaborate with commercial teams based on demand forecasts and capacity plans.
• Strategic Sourcing: Conduct supplier selection, negotiate contracts, manage projects, and build relationships with vendors for all purchased items, including raw materials and services.
• Operations Leadership: Supervise direct line employees within manufacturing or distribution center environments to ensure workload completion is timely, efficient, and safe.
• Global Logistics: Coordinate the movement of products globally, focusing on warehouse operations, customer logistics, and ensuring timely and complete product allocation.
• Quality and Strategy: Ensure industry-leading product, supplier, and manufacturing quality through metrics and analytical approaches, and lead initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, Planning or related field; Entry-Level career.
• Experience: Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management, engineering, and/or manufacturing is desired.
• Skills: Strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to effectively communicate ideas and build relationships.
• Bonus: Experience in SAP or other ERP systems.
