Job Description
The Supply Chain Management Trainee Program at Cargill is designed to develop future leaders in the supply chain industry. As a trainee, you will learn about Cargill’s supply chain operations, collaborate on projects with other trainees, and benefit from individual and group coaching. You will also have the opportunity to participate in networking sessions, in-person summits, and personal development workshops. The program is a two-year rotational program that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain and prepare you for a successful career at Cargill.
Responsibilities
• Learn about Cargill’s supply chain industry and operations
• Optimize planned costs, define action plans, and innovate processes
• Suggest digitalization improvements
• Search for process efficiency opportunities and deliver data-driven recommendations
• Collaborate with other departments such as operations, finance, commercial, safety, and quality
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Engineering or Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural studies, or any other related field
• Fluency in English and Polish / Hungarian
• General understanding and strong interest in geo-political dynamics and trends
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• High integrity and ethical standards
• Natural leadership ability, motivation, initiative, risk appetite, and resilience
• Ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-functional teams
• Curiosity to learn and create new ways of building and improving systems and processes
• Strong data and analytical skills and ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
