Job Description: SCM Inbound Planner Internship
Are you an MBO-4/ HBO student in (technical) business administration or logistics seeking a work placement? Would you like to experience what it’s like to work as a planner in a high-tech and lean manufacturing company? Then we are looking for you!
Your task
As an SCM inbound planner intern, you will be part of a team of Inbound planners and Engineers. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring components are delivered on time, solving problems, and implementing improvements for the future. You will be linked to several of our suppliers and will be responsible for ensuring that components are delivered on time. You will work with your colleagues from the purchasing, quality, assembly departments and of course, with your external stakeholders: the suppliers.
This is a unique opportunity to experience how Supply Chain Management really works in a manufacturing company known for its Lean implementation. This is a true work placement where you will be operationally involved with the team. Our Lean culture is open to continuous improvement. If you see improvements during your work, we are happy to consider them using our “Quick & Easy Kaizen” (quick and easy improvement) methodology.
Your Profile
– You are currently studying MBO4 – final year Logistics or a relevant program, or HBO (technical) business administration or SCM or a relevant program, 1st or 2nd year.
– You are looking for a real work placement. You are part of the team, you have a real impact on our production. You are not looking for a research/improvement placement.
– You enjoy having (telephone) conversations with our suppliers, your direct colleagues or with assembly to ensure that components are delivered on time and production can continue.
– To fulfill the assignment, you have skills such as being proficient with Excel, you can speak, read and write Dutch and English well. You are structured and for you, a successful day is one where you have completed your task list.
– You are available for at least 12 weeks, 4 or 5 days a week.
