Job Description: Supply Chain Management Planner – Internship
Are you an MBO-4/HBO (technical) business administration/logistics student looking for an internship? Do you want to experience what it’s like to work as a planner at a high-tech and lean production company? Then we are looking for you!
Your assignment:
As a SCM inbound planner intern, you will be part of a team of Inbound Planners and Engineers. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring that parts arrive on time, solving problems, and implementing improvements for the future. You will be paired with several of our suppliers and will be responsible for ensuring that parts arrive on time. You will work together with your colleagues from the purchasing, quality, assembly departments, and, of course, your external stakeholders: the suppliers.
This is a unique opportunity to experience how Supply Chain Management really works at a production company known for its lean implementation. This is a real work internship where you will be operationally involved in the team. From our Lean culture, we are open to continuous improvement. If you see improvements during your work, we are happy to look at them using our “Quick & Easy Kaizen” (Quick and easy improvement) methodology.
Your profile:
• You are currently studying MBO4 – final year Logistics or a relevant program
• OR you are in the first or second year of an HBO (technical) business administration or SCM or a relevant program.
• You are looking for a real work internship, where you are part of the team and have a real impact on our production. You are not looking for a research/improvement internship.
• You enjoy communicating (by phone) with our suppliers, your direct colleagues, or with assembly to ensure that parts are delivered on time and production can continue.
• To be able to fulfill the assignment, you have skills such as good Excel skills, fluency in Dutch and English. You are structured and for you, the day is a success if you have been able to complete your to-do list.
• You are available for at least 12 weeks, 4 or 5 days a week.
What’s in it for you?
• A challenging assignment with expert supervision.
• Internship/graduation allowance of €500,- gross per month.
• Travel expense reimbursement if you don’t have a public transport “OV-weekkaart”.
• Good career development opportunities within CPP, thanks to our diversity of disciplines that you will work with.
• The opportunity to network with professionals at CPP, both inside and outside your field.
