Job Description: Supply Chain Management Planner – Internship

Are you an MBO4/HBO (technical) business administration/logistics student looking for an internship? Do you want to experience what it’s like to work as a planner at a high-tech and lean production company? Then we’re looking for you!

Your assignment:

As an SCM inbound planner intern, you’ll join a team of Inbound planners and Engineers. Together, you’ll be responsible for ensuring components arrive on time, resolving problems, and implementing future improvements. You’ll be assigned to several of our suppliers and will be responsible for ensuring that components arrive on time. You’ll work with colleagues from purchasing, quality, assembly, and of course, your external stakeholders: the suppliers.

This is a unique opportunity to experience how Supply Chain Management truly works at a manufacturing company known for its Lean implementation. It’s a real hands-on internship where you’ll be operationally involved with the team.

Our Lean culture embraces continuous improvement. If you see any areas for improvement during your work, we’re happy to explore them through our “Quick & Easy Kaizen” (quick and easy improvement) methodology.

Your profile:

• You are currently studying MBO4 – final year Logistics or a related field or HBO (technical) business administration or SCM or a related field, 1st or 2nd year.
• You’re looking for a real hands-on internship. You’ll be part of the team, having a real impact on our production. You’re not looking for a research/improvement internship.
• You enjoy interacting (by phone) with our suppliers, your direct colleagues, or with assembly to ensure components arrive on time and production can run smoothly.
• To fulfill this assignment, you have skills such as proficiency in Excel, excellent Dutch and English speaking, reading, and writing. You are structured and consider your day successful when you’ve completed your to-do list.
• You are available for at least 12 weeks, 4 or 5 days per week.

What’s in it for you:

• A challenging assignment with expert guidance.
• Internship/graduation allowance of €500,- gross per month.
• Travel allowance if you don’t have a public transport pass.
• Good growth opportunities within CPP, thanks to the diverse disciplines you’ll work with.
• The opportunity to network with professionals at CPP, both within and outside your field.
