Supply Chain Management Development Associate | Nestlé Purina North America

The Tone:
This is a full-time Management Development Associate role at Nestlé Purina North America, with initial rotations in Bloomfield, Missouri, or Davenport, Iowa, followed by required relocation across the U.S. Nestlé Purina, a company driven by integrity and the people-and-pet bond, specializes in pet care. This role is crucial for developing future leaders who will continuously push boundaries and optimize the manufacturing side of the business, ensuring excellence and embracing new possibilities in pet care.

• Mission: This individual will embark on a comprehensive development program to become a future leader on the manufacturing side of the business, focusing on optimizing supply chain efficiency and strategy.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership Development: Embark on a personal and professional development experience designed to fast-track individuals into management roles on the manufacturing side of the business.
• Cross-Functional Understanding: Explore diverse areas such as quality assurance, safety, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand their collaboration with supply chain.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Gain critical insight into material life cycles, developing and managing strategies to optimize inventory levels and enhance the overall efficiency of the supply chain process.
• Operational Training & Industry Acumen: Complete hands-on training in warehouse, transportation, and customer service functions, while developing knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and pet care industries, including Purina brands and competition.
• Project Management & Networking: Complete assigned department improvement projects and cultivate internal and external working relationships, providing exposure to various disciplines, account management, and customer teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027.
• Experience: None specified, this is an early career development role.
• Skills: Openness to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the program.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience; involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience.
