Description
Mary Kay is seeking highly motivated interns to join their Supply Chain team in Lewisville, TX for the summer of 2025. The 10-week internship will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, efficiency, and responsiveness are paramount.
Responsibilities:
• Inventory Planning: Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and optimize stock management.
• Supply Planning: Participate in planning and coordinating the flow of materials and finished goods.
• Distribution and Logistics: Gain insights into the logistics of moving products from manufacturing to customers.
• Purchasing: Learn about the process of sourcing and procuring materials and services.
• Data Management: Work with data analysis tools to support decision-making in the supply chain.
• Process Transformation: Assist in projects to improve existing processes and increase efficiency.
• Procurement: Gain exposure to the strategies and tactics involved in acquiring goods and services.
Currently pursuings:
• Education: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, communication and presentation skills, organization, adaptability, teamwork, initiative, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Minimum Currently pursuings: Must be a full-time undergraduate student or part-time graduate student. Minimum Sophomore status. Rising juniors or seniors preferred.
Benefits:
• Paid: $20/hour, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Location: Global Headquarters in Addison, TX or Manufacturing/R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX.
