Role Overview: The Supply Chain Intern role offers hands-on experience in understanding how products move through the supply chain, from ordering raw materials to delivering finished goods to customers. Many interns get exposure to industry software like SAP and various inventory management tools.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist commodity managers and buyers with supplier qualification and management.
• Analyze customer demand and inventory levels.
• Support order fulfillment and production facility operations.
• Help maintain accurate master data in systems like SAP.
• Create and distribute business reports.

Key Projects You Might Work On:
• Analyzing inventory levels and helping set appropriate stock targets.
• Supporting logistics team operations.
• Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining scorecards.
• Assisting with process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Usually pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Physical Demands: This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
