Job Description: Supply Chain Graduate Internship – Sourcing

This 10-12 week summer internship offers a unique and multi-faceted opportunity to join the AT&T Sourcing group. You will be placed within a Supply Chain Sourcing work group aligned with your skills, interests, and background.

Here’s what you will be doing:

Negotiating Strategic Deals: Assist in negotiating large-scale deals exceeding $10M in annual spend, managing the end-to-end sourcing process from competitive bidding to contract execution.
Contract Expertise: Draft and negotiate contract terms and conditions, manage the RFP (Request For Proposal) process, and develop strategies with clients and stakeholders.
Market Intelligence: Stay current on market trends to enhance negotiation effectiveness.
Policy & Procedures: Assist in establishing and administering business unit policies, procedures, and systems.
Contract Interpretation: Interpret contractual obligations and take appropriate action when provisions are negatively impacted (e.g., termination letters, bankruptcies, breach notifications).
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Qualifications:

Education: Current enrollment in a graduate or J.D. degree program with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a relevant field, graduating by Spring 2026.
Experience:
• Managing RFP processes and utilizing competitive bid tools (RFQ, Reverse Auction).
• Developing financial models (PMO & FMO) for business case analysis and vendor comparison.
• Leading high-impact quality projects (Six Sigma, Lean, TL9000, etc.).
• Drafting and editing contracts, understanding legal implications.
• Business law experience or education (e.g., Business Associations, Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Dispute Resolution, Antitrust, Corporate Tax, Intellectual Property).
• Negotiations coursework and strong influence/negotiation skills using benchmarking and cost tools.
Skills: Effective communication, technical subject matter communication, external business partner relationship management, leadership.
Industry Background: Experience in telecommunications or high-technology industries is beneficial.

Location: Dallas, TX

Compensation: $80,000 per year (during the 10-12 week internship).
