Job Description: Supply Chain Data Analyst Intern
This internship presents a fantastic opportunity for current students or recent graduates to gain valuable hands-on experience in supply chain management and optimization projects. You will be part of a dynamic team at ACBL’s Jeffersonville, Indiana office, working on projects that directly impact the company’s efficiency and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis: Assist in collecting, processing, and analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and valuable insights.
• Reporting and Visualization: Utilize analytical tools and software to create reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify areas for process optimization. Analyze data and offer recommendations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
• Optimization Projects: Analyze data to support a variety of optimization projects, including:
• Stock level analysis
• Spend analysis
• Material number optimization
• Process optimization
• Catalog usage analysis
• Sourcing of goods and services
• Planned and hedged purchases
• Team Participation: Actively participate in team discussions, bringing fresh ideas and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current enrollment in college coursework at Junior or Senior level
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Demonstrated skills in data mining, analysis, and reporting
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Dependable attendance
• Preferred:
• 0-1 years of office work experience
This is a non-exempt internship position, scheduled to run from August to December 2024.
