Job Description:
This is a 10-to-12-week Summer Safety Internship with Cupertino Electric, Inc. designed to provide undergraduate and post-graduate students with exposure to various aspects of CEI’s core markets (Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables). Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and make industry connections across various locations including Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Utah.
Responsibilities may include:
• Supporting Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks.
• Regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Providing regular feedback to project leadership on areas for safety improvement and recognition.
• Coaching and mentoring employees on safe behaviors.
• Supporting Project Leadership in the execution of weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Supporting Project Leadership in the completion of incident investigations.
