Job Description:
This is a Summer Safety Internship at Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI). The 10-12 week program is designed to expose undergraduate and post-graduate students to various aspects of CEI’s core markets. Interns will contribute to real-world projects and build industry connections.
Responsibilities may include:
• Supporting Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks.
• Regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Providing regular feedback to project leadership on areas for safety improvement and recognition.
• Coaching and mentoring employees on safe behaviors.
• Supporting Project Leadership in the execution of weekly toolbox safety meetings and incident investigations.
Salary: $25.77/hour to $35.23/hour, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current student studying Safety, EHS, or a similar major.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
