Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:

  • Provide hands-on support to the operations team, contributing directly to daily functions.
  • Immerse yourself in learning effective and efficient operational practices within a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Shadow experienced professionals to understand how to maintain production practices that rigorously support the facility’s food safety program.
  • Gain practical experience in monitoring product quality and production operations to consistently meet stringent customer expectations.
  • Develop an understanding of how to cultivate an inclusive environment where all team members are encouraged to be active and involved in the business.
  • Learn to recognize and celebrate successes within the team.
  • Be challenged and, in turn, challenge others to achieve more than they thought possible.
  • Shadow production supervisors to gain insight into their day-to-day operations and management responsibilities.
  • Learn to identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and understand how to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Understand how to ensure production resources (including materials, equipment, and human resources) are available as needed to maintain production schedules.
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement goals across safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
  • Grasp the process of implementing solutions to identified operational problems or bottlenecks.
  • Build strong relationships with hourly team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Learn the basics of anticipating and determining causes of delays in shift operations, and how to take appropriate actions to meet production schedules.
  • Complete and present a project focused on addressing specific issues within the operations department, offering real-world solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $21/hour
  • $2,500 relocation stipend
