Job Description: Summer Marketing Manager Intern

This internship is with the US Consumer Services team, which is responsible for American Express’ consumer products, services, and experiences in the US. The team focuses on building a strong premium Card business by connecting Card Members to what they love.

As a Summer Marketing Manager Intern, you will:

Support critical and innovative projects: You’ll work alongside the team to contribute to important initiatives.
Analyze data and drive growth: You’ll help the team understand customer behavior and identify opportunities to improve performance and drive growth.
Explore digital products and services: You’ll research and analyze new digital products and services to identify how they could benefit the business.
Develop performance indicators and cost-benefit analyses: You’ll use data to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and assess the feasibility of new opportunities.
Build relationships and share best practices: You’ll work with internal and external partners, share knowledge, and provide consulting to the team.
Manage marketing initiatives: You’ll develop and implement marketing initiatives and conduct tests to measure their efficiency.
Improve the customer experience: You’ll find innovative ways to enhance the customer experience and make it more enjoyable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a full-time graduate degree program.
• Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for customer marketing, payments innovation, the travel industry, and new technology trends.
• Ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas effectively.
• Independent thinker with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a quantitative mindset.
• Willingness to take risks and share new perspectives.
• Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $38.45 to $87.00 hourly + sign-on bonus
