Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to the maintenance team.
  • Assist the team responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.
  • Contribute to establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
  • Learn best practices for maintaining production equipment to meet organizational standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime. Assist with requisitions for tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Shadow training programs to understand proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair equipment procedures, always adhering to the highest safety expectations.
  • Complete and present a project related to identified issues or improvements within the maintenance department.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Compensation & Benefits

The successful applicant for this position will be eligible for the following compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage of $21/hour.
  • A $2,500 relocation stipend.
