Nova-Tech Engineering, headquartered in Willmar, MN, is a growing company founded in 1992. It specializes in innovative process automation technology for the agricultural industry, primarily serving over 500 commercial poultry hatcheries in over 65 countries worldwide. The company is located on the MinnWest Technology Campus, a large privately owned technology park, housing its manufacturing facility alongside its engineering and drafting teams. This allows for a close observation of the entire product development process, from concept to completion.
Job Description: Summer IT Internship
This is a fully onsite summer internship opportunity located in Willmar, MN, paying $20/hour. The internship is open to students pursuing a four-year degree in Information Technology or a related field. The position offers a flexible schedule.
The intern will gain experience in a variety of IT tasks, including:
• Troubleshooting: Assisting with hardware and software issues for internal users.
• System Management: Supporting the IT team in managing and maintaining company systems, networks, and databases.
• Technical Setup: Setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other tech equipment.
• Project Participation: Contributing to special IT projects and initiatives.
• Teamwork: Building relationships with members of a cross-functional team.
• Process Understanding: Learning about the roles, processes, and procedures within an IT group.
• Prioritization: Developing skills in prioritizing multiple tasks and project responsibilities to meet deadlines.
