Job Description: Hybrid Internship – Zebra Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC)

This internship program aims to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a comprehensive understanding of Zebra Technologies’ operations. The program offers a full experience to help interns envision a career with the company. Interns receive training, exposure to all business aspects, social activities, mentorship, and development sessions to enhance their performance.

Specific Responsibilities (within the Zebra Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC) Handheld Products Team):

The internship focuses on Zebra’s Android-based handheld touch computers used in retail and transportation & logistics (T&L) markets, and Android handheld application-specific gun and brick form-factor mobile computers for warehouse and manufacturing. The intern will work closely with the EMC Platform Software Group and other functional teams to contribute to bringing high-quality enterprise-class products to market. This is a hybrid internship located in Holtsville, New York, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science.
• Anticipated graduation date between 2025 and 2027.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Demonstrated leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular activities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computer programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.

Compensation:

The hourly pay range is USD 19.50 – USD 42.50, varying based on location, skills, knowledge, and experience. All Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs, including annual cash incentives linked to company and individual performance, and potentially long-term incentive equity awards. Sales roles may offer additional variable compensation based on quota achievement.
