• Pluto TV: The leading free streaming television service in America with over 250 live and original channels.
• Paramount+: A subscription service that combines breaking news, live sports, and premium entertainment.

Job Description: Summer Internship – Software Development
Potential Team Areas:
• Backend DevOps
• Front End Mobile (Android or iOS)
• Quality Assurance (QA)
• Test Automation
• Video Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and various teams across Paramount+ and Pluto.
• Implement product features using rapid prototyping methodologies.
• Identify and build platform elements required for user interfaces.
• Support the development, maintenance, and support of streaming media platforms on Roku and set-top boxes.
• Provide support for platforms like Xbox, LG TVs, Samsung TVs, Comcast Flex, etc.
• Participate in standard sprint ceremonies (scrum, planning, grooming, retro).
• Develop front-end software for high-traffic streaming web properties.
• Build APIs and enhance video packaging technology.
• Create documentation and internal tools.
• Develop automated test scripts using Java and open-source solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and coding applications.
• Programming experience with languages such as:
• Front End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular
• Backend: PHP, Python, Node, Golang, Java
• Mobile: Swift, Objective-C, Android SDK, Kotlin, RXJava
Additional Qualifications:
• Sound programming fundamentals (memory management, pointers, arrays, dictionaries, systems).
• Knowledge of computer science concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
• Understanding of software development methodologies like Test-Driven Development and Scrum.
• Availability for full-time internship during the summer program.
Eligibility:
• Must be a Junior, Senior, or Master’s student in the fall of 2025.
• Must be available full-time (5 days/week, 36-40 hours/week) for 10 weeks starting in June.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
