Job Description: Insmed Summer Internship Program (Gene Therapy Program Support)

Insmed offers a paid, full-time (40 hours/week) summer internship program for students pursuing an MBA, other Master’s degree, or advanced STEM degree. The internship provides hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical corporate setting, mentorship from experienced professionals, and involvement in dynamic team projects. Rotational assignments within the function may be possible. Interns will be assigned goals and objectives that directly support the company’s strategic business plan.

Specific Responsibilities for this Gene Therapy Program Support role include:

• Partnering with the Program Manager to build and manage cross-functional timelines, focusing on milestone activities and critical path activities.
• Supporting the Program Manager in identifying and mitigating issues and risks, and leading sub-team meetings.
• Creating tools and processes for cross-functional planning.
• Developing visuals to support program status updates and changes.
• Partnering with the Program Manager to ensure effective team/sub-team/task force governance.
• Developing roles and responsibilities for clinical trial teams and task forces to meet program milestones.

Qualifications:

• Interest in a pharmaceutical industry career.
• Full-time enrollment in an MBA or other Master’s degree program, or an advanced STEM degree.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Compensation and Benefits:

• hourly salary range: $23-$24.
• Paid company holidays during the internship program.
