Program Overview and Goals:
The program is designed to offer students a challenging, meaningful, and supportive internship experience. Its primary goal is to simulate, as closely as possible, the experience of being a full-time BlackRock Analyst.
Program Structure and Activities:
The internship includes several key components:
• Orientation: The program starts with an orientation that provides a thorough overview of BlackRock and opportunities to hear from senior leaders.
• On-the-Job Training: Following orientation, interns receive practical training.
• Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Interns are given active responsibilities to contribute to their teams throughout the summer, ensuring a hands-on experience.
• Enrichment Programming: The program also features:
• A speaker series
• Mentoring opportunities
• Various networking opportunities, including activities with BlackRock’s employee networks.
Career Progression:
Interns who enjoy the program are encouraged to explore BlackRock’s Full-Time Analyst Program, for which they can apply after their internship.
Eligibility (Who Can Apply):
• Undergraduate or master’s students.
• Must be graduating between September 2026 and July 2027.
Important Application Rules:
• One Program Limit: Candidates can apply for only one program (e.g., Summer Internship Program or Quantitative Master’s Internship Program) per year.
• Two Function Limit: Within the chosen program, applicants can apply for up to two functions (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling). Both opportunities must be applied for using the same program application.
• Withdrawal Policy: If an application is withdrawn, the candidate cannot submit another application for this specific program within the same year.
