Description: PulteGroup Summer Internship (Marketing Focus)
PulteGroup offers summer internships providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry and build a strong career foundation. The internship program is designed to give a holistic understanding of the homebuilding process through rotational shadowing across various functions and departments. Interns will then work on meaningful projects within their designated function alongside experienced professionals.
The internship includes:
• Rotational shadowing: Exposure to various aspects of the homebuilding process.
• Meaningful project contributions: Working on real-world projects within the intern’s assigned function (in this case, Marketing).
• Centralized training and development: Investment in the intern’s continued professional development.
• Capstone presentation: An opportunity to showcase internship experiences and ideas to local Division leadership.
Specific Responsibilities for Marketing Interns:
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analyzing data to identify consumer trends.
• Marketing and Advertising Support: Assisting with promotional activities across various channels (social media, email, web).
• Asset Management: Assisting with the intake, trafficking, and creation of assets for media requests.
• Competitive Analysis: Performing market research to identify opportunities.
• SEO Project Support: Contributing to SEO initiatives, including blog posts and website content creation.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• US work authorization.
• Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred).
• Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred.
• Strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, and/or construction industry.
• Required Skills: Curious, coachable, personable, patient, action-oriented, accountable, motivated, enthusiastic, professional communication (verbal and written), tech-savvy (especially Excel and Microsoft Teams), strong organizational skills, self-motivation, learning agility, bias for action. Extracurricular activities are a plus.
Internship Details:
• Dates: May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks) – Schedule may be adjusted.
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Compensation: $20/hour (Pay may vary based on position and location).
• Benefits: Eligibility for the company’s 401(k) plan.
• Location: Primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or up-and-coming development communities (Specific locations listed in the original text).
• Format: A blend of rotational shadowing and focused project work within the Marketing department.
