Job Description: Summer Internship – Human Resources Management Department
This is a paid, full-time summer internship (June 9, 2025 – August 1, 2025) in the Human Resources Management Department at BNSF Railway in Fort Worth, TX. Two internship positions are available. The monthly salary is $4,206. While primarily located in Fort Worth, one day per week of remote work is permitted. Relocation is required if the applicant lives more than 50 miles from Fort Worth.
Key Responsibilities: Interns will gain hands-on experience across various HR/Medical functions, including:
• Leading and participating in projects that influence business decisions and impact the organization’s future.
• Partnering with HR teams to share insights, propose recommendations, and present proposals to team and senior HR leaders.
• Participating in various HR department activities such as hiring, performance management, and talent development.
• Developing strong leadership, teamwork, communication, adaptability, and resilience skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
The internship includes professional development workshops and mentorship from HR leaders. Successful interns may be offered full-time Management Trainee positions upon graduation. The program starts with a two-day orientation in Fort Worth.
Daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment. Minimal travel is required. Reliable transportation is mandatory.
Qualifications:
• Basic Qualifications:
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).
• At least 18 years old upon hire.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a similar field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
• Less than three years of professional work experience (excluding internships, part-time jobs, or positions held while pursuing a degree).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior internship experience or less than 3 years of HR-related work experience.
• Leadership experience in campus, community, or extracurricular organizations.
• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.

Additional Information:
