Exclusive Brands Logistics Team Internship:
The Exclusive Brands Logistics Team at Whole Foods Market oversees the inventory of Whole Foods Market’s Exclusive Brand products. They focus on:
• Providing oversight and guidance for inventory management.
• Acting as a liaison between central and regional teams.
• Coordinating demand signals and availability across the distribution network (vendors, warehouses, and third-party logistics).
This internship focuses on Holiday initiatives to enhance inventory reporting, tracking, and communication efficiencies across various departments within and outside Whole Foods.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate possesses:
• Strong analytical skills to navigate ambiguity, define problems with data, and interpret information from multiple sources.
• Excellent project management skills to solicit feedback, define goals with stakeholders, and manage project timelines effectively.
Intern Responsibilities:
• Assist the Seasonal and Logistics Team with data gathering, analysis, report generation, presentation drafting, and other duties related to holiday inventory availability and sell-through reporting.
• Maintain project tracking, document next steps, and communicate updates to stakeholders proactively.
• Create documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support inventory strategy and reporting.
• Monitor and track initiative progress, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
• Attend meetings, presentations, and training to gain a comprehensive understanding of Exclusive Brands functions and their interdependencies.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Basic understanding and experience with supply and demand functions, inventory management, and retail replenishment.
• General knowledge of the retail environment and retail replenishment.
• Self-starter capable of working well in a team environment.
• Collaborative and enjoys working with diverse partners.
• Ability to present information in various formats and adapt presentation style based on audience technical skills or leadership level.
• Positive attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Familiarity with standard office software and applications (Microsoft Word, Excel with macros, pivot tables, vlookups, and PowerPoint).
• Strong listening skills and excellent customer service abilities.
Education and Experience:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed (within the past year) a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Supply Chain & Logistics majors preferred.
Internship Program Details:
• Paid for 10 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) between June 2, 2025, and August 8, 2025.
• Based in Austin, Texas (not remote).
Program Highlights:
• weekly Summer Event Series: Connect with other interns and experience Whole Foods Market culture through events like distribution center tours, cheese tastings, volunteering, supplier visits, and leadership panels.
• Intern Buddy: Paired with a Whole Foods Market team member outside the team for guidance and support.
• Team Member Coffee Chats: One-on-one networking opportunities with Whole Foods Market team members in your field or area of interest.
• Internship Expo: End-of-internship presentations to share your projects with the entire company.
