Job Description: Summer Internship/Co-op in Materials Engineering

Terracon offers summer internships (May-August) and co-ops (May-December) for students pursuing a BS or Master’s degree in civil or construction engineering. These positions support the company’s Materials service line, providing hands-on experience in materials engineering.

Internship/Co-op Highlights:

Hands-on Experience:
• Site safety and safe work practices
• Sampling and testing
• Assisting field and laboratory personnel
• Equipment transport and setup
• Routine task assistance
• Client interaction
• Understanding test procedures (ASTM, DOT, COE, etc.)
• Report preparation
• Communicating test results
• Learning about quality management systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Currently pursuing a BS or Master’s degree in civil or construction engineering.
