About Cisco Engineering Sustainability & Engineering Alliance Office
Established in February 2022, the Engineering Sustainability & Engineering Alliance Office is a central team at Cisco dedicated to accelerating the development of more sustainable products and platforms across Cisco’s portfolio and the broader ecosystems. This team focuses on critical issues facing customers globally, including:
• Lowering energy consumption and costs
• Meeting the demand for smart buildings and digitization of physical spaces
• Fulfilling reporting and compliance requirements for GHG emissions
The team focuses on product management, product marketing, and go-to-market enablement, delivering the foundational work to differentiate Cisco’s product and solution portfolio.
Job Description: Summer Internship
This internship is a potential opportunity, and while not currently open, it may become available in the near future. When you apply, a Cisco representative may contact you directly if a relevant position opens.
As an intern, you will:
• Choose a major and minor technology project based on team needs, driving key tasks for the roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members from engineering and other Cisco organizations.
• Develop product management skills throughout the summer, culminating in a summary presentation to cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications
• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Environmental Engineering or a related program or other academic certification.
• 0-2 years of experience in networking or data center technology.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
