Job Description: New York Life Investments Summer Internship Program

This 10-week paid internship program is designed for rising juniors and seniors seeking experience and support for launching their careers. The program begins in June 2025 and offers the opportunity to be considered for a full-time analyst role upon graduation.

Key Highlights:

Hands-on experience: Gain valuable skills through practical work in various departments and boutiques.
Networking opportunities: Build connections with talented interns, experienced employees, and senior leaders through events, mentorship programs, and social gatherings.
Training and development: Participate in seminars, workshops, and market calls to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Full-time analyst consideration: Interns are eligible to be considered for New York Life Investments’ 2-year Analyst Program upon graduation.

Responsibilities may include:

• Creating and presenting individual/group presentations
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, business intelligence, compliance, finance, and legal
• Developing marketing materials for new products (blogs, webcasts, videos, brochures, presentations, flyers, etc.)
• Synthesizing research and creating presentations for product recommendations
• Project managing new product launches and modifications
• Planning and coordinating conferences, seminars, and meetings
• Operational work like database updates, managing daily queues, and inputting client requests
• Conducting credit research, security analysis, and industry/market research
• Attending training and development seminars
• Networking with senior leadership and subject matter experts

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited 4-year university or college with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.
• Business, Finance, or related major preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Prior internship experience or significant contributions to campus or community extracurricular activities.
