Requisition Summary:

PACCAR is seeking a highly motivated second-year law student to join its Corporate Law Department in Bellevue, WA, for a full-time summer internship.

Internships are scheduled to begin in early to mid-June 2026.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include assisting PACCAR’s legal team with document review and legal research on issues relevant to ongoing litigation and transactional matters. Assignments may involve the following areas:

• Product liability
• Employment issues
• Non-disclosure agreements and other contracts
• Franchise law
• Real estate
• Corporate finance
• Licensing renewals
• Intellectual property

Skills / Competencies / Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• Be a current first-year law student
• Possess superior analytical skills
• Excel at writing
• Enjoy tasks requiring attention to detail
• Be resourceful, articulate, and passionate about business and law

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Prior corporate or insurance industry experience
• A degree or training in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Experience resolving consumer complaints
• A background in manufacturing
• Any combination of the above
