Job Description: Summer Internship (Parsippany, NJ)
This internship provides hands-on experience in various aspects of the recruitment process. It’s a hybrid role, requiring 3-4 days a week in the Parsippany, NJ office, with a flexible schedule of 20-40 hours per week. The internship runs from May to August, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
• Communication:** Maintain professional and positive communication with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Market Research:** Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging talent to improve the firm’s market understanding.
• Sales & Business Development Support:** Assist in supporting sales and business development initiatives.
• Candidate Outreach:** Actively identify and engage potential candidates using various channels, including social media, job boards, and university career services.
• Candidate Screening:** Help screen resumes and evaluate candidate qualifications.
• Administrative Support:** Provide administrative assistance to the recruitment team, including data entry, job ad creation and editing, document preparation, and file organization.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
• Proactive & Eager to Learn:** A highly energetic and motivated individual with a strong desire to learn about recruitment processes.
• Attention to Detail:** Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic Computer Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LinkedIn is required.
Compensation: hourly, based on experience.
