Job Description: 22squared Summer Internship

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week remote internship running from Monday, June 2nd to Friday, August 1st, 2025. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. Interns will receive $15/hour and will be provided with computer equipment. The agency is closed on Juneteenth (June 18th) and Independence Day (July 4th and 5th).

The internship is designed to be a 10-week launchpad. Interns will receive weekly training through sessions and panels, in addition to working on a summer-long project. The program emphasizes active participation and contribution; interns are encouraged to share ideas and participate fully in team and client interactions. The program highlights that interns are expected to contribute meaningfully to real work, and not simply perform menial tasks.

Requirements:

• Ability to work 40 hours per week (full-time)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Preference given to students located in GA, FL, NY, NJ, MA, TX, SC, NC, TN, CA, MS, or IL and who are hirable after the internship.

Departments and Descriptions:

Production: This department focuses on getting projects done, emphasizing problem-solving and supporting the team. Interns will learn the tools of the trade and contribute to turning ideas into reality.
Analytics: This role involves using data and math to gain insights and tell stories. Interns will be investigating “why” things happened and communicating those findings.
Media: This role blends strong people skills with a good grasp of numbers and spreadsheets. Interns must keep up with current trends in the media landscape.
Creative – Art Director: This role requires a portfolio. Interns will apply their visual design skills and conceptual thinking to create compelling visuals and imagery.
Creative – Copywriter: This role requires a portfolio. Interns will use their writing skills to create compelling copy, from headlines to scripts, understanding the power of words to evoke emotion.
