Job Description: Summer Internship
Textron Aviation offers paid summer internships for high school students (minimum age 16, graduating seniors included). The internships are full-time (up to 40 hours per week) for the full semester and are conducted onsite. Interns will work on meaningful projects, learn new skills, and explore potential career paths.
Types of Internship Opportunities:
The program offers a variety of internship options tailored to different interests, including:
• Aviation Maintenance: Performing aircraft checks and repairs to ensure safety and functionality.
• Business Management: Coordinating and monitoring company operations for efficiency.
• Communication: Developing content for various communication channels.
• Customer Experience and Events: Ensuring positive customer experiences.
• Data Analytics: Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for decision-making.
• Engineering: Utilizing science and math to solve problems and develop new solutions.
• Finance: Assisting with data entry and financial analysis.
• Flight Operations/Pilot: Supporting pilots and dispatchers.
• Human Resources: Supporting hiring, employee relations, and compensation.
• Information Technology: Developing databases and troubleshooting software issues.
• Manufacturing: Working with blueprints, sheet metal, machinery, and other tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Must be a current high school student aged 16 or older. (Graduating seniors are eligible).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills are beneficial.
