Summer Internship Program
The summer internship program at Ariel Alternatives offers college-level students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. Interns will work alongside seasoned experts, learning about different business channels within the firm. This eight-week program is designed to fully immerse motivated students in the day-to-day activities of one of their departments.
The program includes:
• Ongoing information sessions: Interns will learn about the firm, its benefits, and responsibilities, as well as the opportunities within the Ariel Team.
• Professional and self-guided learning: Interns will have the opportunity to develop their skills through structured learning opportunities.
• Networking opportunities: Interns will have the chance to connect with other professionals within the company.
• Department-specific training: Interns will receive training tailored to their assigned department to help them succeed in their roles.
Responsibilities:
• Complete tasks and projects: Interns will work on assigned projects and tasks under the guidance of their supervisor.
• Collaborate with teammates: Interns will work alongside other team members on projects and share ideas.
• Manage multiple projects: Interns will learn to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Present ideas clearly and concisely: Interns will develop their communication skills by presenting their ideas to colleagues.
• Participate in professional learning workshops: Interns will participate in workshops designed to enhance their professional skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Ariel Alternatives seeks candidates who possess the following qualities:
• College sophomore, junior, or senior preferred
• Critical thinker: Able to analyze information and draw logical conclusions.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills: Able to effectively analyze data, solve problems, and communicate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient multitasker: Able to pay attention to detail, manage multiple tasks effectively, and stay organized.
• Strong presentation skills: Able to deliver clear and engaging presentations.
Education
• Preferred or required: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business administration, economics, finance/accounting, statistics, marketing, communications, and/or computer science/data analytics.
