Overview
Sharp’s Pro-AV Product Marketing team is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to help shape the future of our go-to-market strategy through data-driven, AI enabled customer segmentation. This role will focus on developing a segmentation model that identifies key customer groups, buying propensity, and optimal routes to market. Insights learned will help influence product prioritization, positioning, and promotional strategies. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to work closely with senior marketing leadership while gaining real-world experience at the intersection of AI, analytics, and product marketing.

Responsibilities
- Develop an AI-enabled customer segmentation framework for Sharp’s display products
- Identify and define key customer segments based on attributes such as industry, use case, size, and buying behavior
- Build a structured framework to evaluate:
- Product attributes and value drivers
- Key customer profiles and decision makers
- Propensity to buy across segments
- Predominant channels and routes-to-market (RTM)
- Analyze internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that support:
- Product prioritization
- Product positioning and messaging
- Promotional and go-to-market strategies
- Present findings and recommendations to the Product Marketing leadership team
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest or coursework in AI, machine learning, data modeling, or advanced analytics
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn data into clear business insights
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
Summer Internship Details
- Compensation: The hourly rate is $20/hr.
- Duration: The internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, running from June 1st to August 14th, 2026.
- Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position, requiring interns to be in the office four days a week (Monday to Thursday), with Fridays designated for remote work at the manager’s discretion.
- Transportation: Interns must have reliable transportation.
- Housing: We do not provide housing or a housing stipend for interns.
- Work Visa: Unfortunately, we do not offer work visa sponsorship for this role, including participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
