Position Summary: Summer Intern, Lifecycle Marketing
e.l.f. Cosmetics is seeking a dynamic and eager Summer Intern, Lifecycle Marketing to play a crucial supporting role in the execution of our comprehensive lifecycle campaigns. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies within a fast-paced, high-growth consumer brand environment.
The intern will assist with campaign preparation, meticulous organization, vital QA support, and seamless cross-functional coordination. This critical support will ensure that our lifecycle initiatives across email, SMS, and push messaging launch smoothly, on time, and with maximum impact, particularly during a high-volume period for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Support: Actively support lifecycle marketing campaigns across all key channels, including email, SMS, and push messaging.
- Input Preparation: Meticulously prepare and organize all necessary campaign inputs, encompassing creative assets, compelling copy, accurate links, and precise audience details.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain comprehensive trackers and documentation for all active lifecycle initiatives, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Assist with critical QA processes by thoroughly reviewing test sends, verifying links, and confirming personalization fields for accuracy.
- Feedback Management: Track feedback received and proactively follow up on necessary updates with the CRM development and creative teams.
- Cross-Functional Handoffs: Support seamless handoffs and collaboration between lifecycle, creative, loyalty, and development partners.
- Team Support: Assist with meeting notes, status updates, and various ad hoc team needs as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
Requirements:
- Academic Status: Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship.
- Availability: Must be available for the full internship period: June 1 – August 28.
- On-Site Presence: Available for in-office work at least three days per week.
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Communication: Demonstrate clear and effective written communication skills.
- Personal Attributes: Dependable, proactive, and genuinely eager to learn and contribute.
- Interest: A genuine interest in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or consumer brands.
- Passion: A passion for beauty and skincare is a significant plus.
