Job Title: Summer Intern, Events Team (2026 User Conference)

Program Overview:

Join our dynamic Summer Internship Program on the Events team and gain unparalleled hands-on experience in the high-stakes world of large-scale corporate events. You will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of the 2026 User Conference, recognized as the world’s largest gathering of geospatial professionals, attracting over 20,000 attendees.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside seasoned corporate events professionals, contributing directly to high-impact projects that are vital to the success of this major global event.

Key Responsibilities and Projects:

Interns will engage in a variety of challenging and rewarding projects, which may include:

  • Coordinating large-scale food and beverage programs: Assisting with menu planning, vendor relations, and logistics for catering thousands of attendees.
  • Assisting with event content and agenda management: Supporting the scheduling of sessions, speaker coordination, and overall program flow.
  • Supporting sponsorship and exhibit programs: Contributing to the management of exhibitor logistics, sponsor deliverables, and partner relations.
  • Conference logistic management: Providing assistance with venue setup, signage, registration processes, and on-site operational support.

Education and Other Requirements:

  • Academic Enrollment: Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at a university in the United States. Undergraduate students must be in junior or senior standing.
  • Majors: We are specifically looking for students majoring in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
  • Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring current or future sponsorship.
  • Internship Duration: Ability to commit to a 12-week internship period, commencing in either May or June 2026.
  • Skills: Demonstrated strong writing and communication skills, coupled with excellent research abilities.
  • Bonus Skill: Experience with social media platforms is considered a plus.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role is highly competitive, ranging from $28 to $33 per hour.
