About the Job
This is a summer internship opportunity for rising-senior students in the Wealth & Investment Management division. The program aims to attract, develop, and retain talent while increasing diversity within WIM.
Program Overview
• Duration: Summer 2026, 10-weeks, full-time.
• Locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO. (Locations are not flexible)
• Non-rotational.
• Stipend for relocation (if required).
Internship Experience:
• On-the-Job Experience: Gain in-depth experience as an intern within a high-performing team.
• Professional Support: Receive mentorship from a colleague.
• Virtual Speaker Series: Learn from Wells Fargo leaders.
• Organization Networking Activities: Build professional relationships with other interns and full-time analysts.
Potential Areas of Placement:
• Banking, Lending & Trust (BL&T): Delivering cash management, credit, and trust services to high-net-worth clients.
• Investment Solutions: Providing investment expertise, solutions, and product offerings. This includes Wells Fargo Investment Institute.
• Client Relationship Group: Supporting financial advisors and team-led client coverage.
• Other Lines of Business: WIM Advisory & Client Experience, The Private Bank, WIM Shared Service and Branch Support, and WIM Marketing
Responsibilities:
• Interact with leaders at all levels.
• Provide customer service to clients and internal employees.
• Recommend process improvements.
• Solve problems independently.
• Understand business needs and provide possible solutions.
• Learn new systems, applications, processes, and techniques.
• Lead or participate in projects.
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of work experience (or equivalent).
Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2026-June 2027.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Proven ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively.
• Energetic, self-starter with a genuine interest in learning and growth.
Other Information:
• Successful interns may receive an offer to return to the full-time Wealth & Investment Management Development Program.
• Ability to travel 5% or more of the time.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship.
• Subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements.
Pay Range:
$18.00 – $65.00 (Pay may vary)
