Summer Internship Program

The L’Oréal USA Summer Internship Program is a paid, 11-week experience designed to provide interns with a comprehensive understanding of the beauty industry and career opportunities at L’Oréal. Interns will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of a team while also leading their own strategic project.

Here’s what interns will do:

Support strategic initiatives: Contribute to building and executing strategies in areas such as Search Engine Optimization/Marketing (SEO/SEM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Driven Marketing/Experience (DDM/DDX), and Merchandising.
Assist with new activations and media strategy: Contribute to driving brand awareness and shaping the digital consumer journey.
Analyze data and insights: Track media spend, research digital competitors, and analyze media mix percentages and ROI.
Develop business recommendations: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
Lead a strategic project: Develop and present an individualized strategic project for consideration for a full-time return offer.
Network with professionals: Build connections across different departments and learn how various functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&I and Sales) impact the business.
Gain valuable skills: Develop presentation, teamwork, leadership, analytics, strategic thinking, and insight-building skills.

Who they are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Expected graduation between December 2025 – July 2026.
• Able to start working full-time starting July 2026 upon graduation.
• Legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time, permanent, and ongoing basis.
• Willing to relocate to any USA-based office with a summer internship opportunity (New York, NY; Jersey City, NJ).

Stand-out Qualifications:
• Available to work the entirety of the 11-week summer internship program in 2025.
• Prior experience in a professional, dynamic environment (internships, part-time work, work study, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership ability and interest in Marketing.
• Strong self-awareness and understanding of cultural nuances, identity, biases, and power dynamics.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

The Program:

Compensation: Paid internship with a salary range of $25.50-$28.00 per hour (depending on location).
Relocation Assistance: Provided on an individual basis based on eligibility.

The summer internship is the primary path for consideration into L’Oréal’s full-time Marketing Management Trainee Program upon graduation.
