The Point72 Academy Summer Internship – US

This 8-week internship, taking place from June to August 2025, provides aspiring investors with a unique opportunity to launch their careers within the Point72 Academy, a renowned equities analyst training program. Since 2015, the Academy has successfully graduated over 175 analysts, some of whom now serve as portfolio managers.

The internship combines classroom instruction, portfolio casework, and mentorship, offering valuable insights into finance, research, and public markets. It’s a stepping stone to the full-time Academy Associate Program.

During the internship, you will:

• Acquire fundamental knowledge and skills: Gain essential skills alongside peers to contribute effectively as an analyst.
• Receive comprehensive training: Develop expertise in accounting, modeling, presenting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with investment teams: Experience firsthand the daily life of an equities analyst and explore a sector covered by Point72’s Portfolio Managers.
• Work closely with Academy coaches: Dive deeper into data analysis and prepare a final pitch on an investment idea.

This internship is ideal for students who:

• Will graduate between December 2025 and July 2026: You must be a current university student graduating within this timeframe.

What to expect:

• Case study: Selected candidates will receive an email invitation to participate in a case study showcasing their experiences and business acumen.
• Virtual interviews: Following the case study review, shortlisted candidates will be invited for virtual one-on-one interviews with Academy team members.

Compensation:

The US annual base salary range for this internship is $120,000 – $140,000, prorated based on your internship start and end dates. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, skills, and other factors.
