Job Title: Intern

Department: Global Operations and Regulatory Compliance

Summary:

This position offers the opportunity to support the Global Operations and Regulatory Compliance team. As an intern, you will contribute to operational, financial, and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to both internal standards and external regulations. You will research and interpret data to provide valuable information to management.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with audit teams to plan and execute audits, including preparing audit plans, gathering and analyzing evidence, and documenting audit processes.
• Develop and utilize detailed process flowcharts to visually document and review workflows and systems, enhancing understanding and identification of key control points.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance process efficiency.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports to summarize findings and recommendations, presenting these findings to senior management to aid in decision-making.
• Work closely with various departments to review policies and procedures, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate from Business, Finance, Accounting or related program.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts such as operating profit/loss and net income.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Excellent oral, written and interactive communication skills.
• Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
