About the Job
This is a Summer Intern position within the Data Science and Analytics team. The role is designed for students seeking hands-on experience in supply chain and manufacturing analytics. A unique aspect of this internship involves researching governance policies and data retention/training policies for various large language models (LLMs). The intern will apply analytical skills in a real-world business context, directly contributing to projects that impact operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Analyzing supply chain, manufacturing, and pricing data to identify trends, efficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Participating in the development and implementation of analytical models to solve complex business problems.
• Conducting comprehensive research on LLM governance policies and data retention strategies, presenting findings to senior team members.
• Collaborating with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Assisting in the documentation and presentation of analysis results and project outcomes.
• Engaging in continuous learning activities through workshops and seminars.
Qualifications required:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
• Basic understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Travel may be required up to 10% per internship period.
• The role is Hybrid work eligible.
