Job Description: Summer Internship Opportunity

Savant offers a seasonal, hands-on Summer Internship Opportunity designed to develop the next generation of professionals passionate about financial services. This program provides broad exposure to the financial industry, Savant’s culture, and its mission to empower clients to build ideal futures. Interns are paired with experienced professionals who foster a collaborative learning environment.

Key Aspects of the Internship:

• Purpose: The internship aims to provide real-world experience, moving beyond “busy work” to offer meaningful contributions and learning opportunities. It seeks to challenge, support, and invest in the intern’s future.

• Wealth Advisory
• Financial Planning

• Day-to-Day Responsibilities & Exposure: While daily tasks will vary by assigned team, interns will have real responsibilities, dedicated mentors, and genuine learning opportunities. Potential areas of exposure include:
• Supporting advisors in preparing client presentations and planning analyses.
• Assisting with investment research and market monitoring.
• Helping to create marketing content and communications.
• Participating in team meetings and client strategy sessions.
• Gaining exposure to the firm’s compliance framework and operational processes.
• Contributing ideas to projects that support the firm’s vision.
• Ideal Candidate: This internship is particularly suited for students pursuing a CFP designation who wish to experience their studies come to life in a collaborative, client-focused setting.

Internship Details:

• Location: Doylestown, VA Office. In-person participation is required, necessitating reliable transportation. No relocation assistance is provided.
• Duration: Seasonal, from June to August. Orientation is scheduled for the 1st Wednesday in June.
• Hours: Full-time, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship, with an hourly rate ranging from $18.00 – $22.00, depending on experience and department placement.

What Savant is Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma and current enrollment in a college program, preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, business, or economics. Students entering their junior year in a CFP accredited program are prioritized.
• Location/Authorization: Must be within driving distance to the Doylestown, VA office and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Savant cannot sponsor or take over employment Visas.
• Qualities:
• Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity (a core value).
• Collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. Familiarity with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or Bloomberg is a plus.
