About Big Loud/Big Loud Rock:

Big Loud and Big Loud Rock offer summer internships in various departments, including Digital/Social, Marketing, Creative, A&R/Publishing, Research & Insights, and Radio Promotion. Interns are embedded within a chosen team for hands-on experience. The company has three in-person internship locations: Nashville, TN; Santa Monica, CA; and Austin, TX.

Job Description:

Big Loud/Big Loud Rock Summer Internships are in-person, Monday-Thursday, for 20-25 hours per week, running from June 3rd to August 14th, 2025. The internships offer a blend of learning and practical application:

Team-Based Projects: Interns will own a set of department-specific projects and tasks, working towards timely delivery. This includes compiling reports using various metrics and data, presenting data in a presentable format, and managing spreadsheets and databases.
Daily Support: Daily responsibilities include attending meetings, providing entry-level support to the team, and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, creating presentations, and packing promotional packages. Additional marketing-related tasks may include graphic creation, social media management, and Shopify store management, depending on the department.
Industry Exposure: Interns may support the company at industry events, award shows, press events, marketing events, photo and video shoots, etc., contingent on their department.
Collaboration & Creativity: Interns will collaborate with internal teams and fellow interns on a final end-of-semester project, contributing creative ideas and solutions to support the team.
Learning & Development: The program features weekly lunch & learns, occasional field trips, numerous networking opportunities, and a focus on learning from industry professionals. The internship aims to build lasting professional connections.
Specific Responsibilities (Department Dependent): While general tasks are outlined, the exact responsibilities will vary based on the assigned department.

Qualifications:

• Rising Junior, Senior, Graduate Student, or Recent College Graduate.
• Passion for music, pop culture, and entertainment.
• Willingness to work 20-25 hours per week on-site at one of their offices.
• Deep interest and passion for the music business.
