Summer Events Internship – 2026 User Conference Team
Program Summary:
Join our dynamic Summer Internship Program and immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of large-scale corporate events. As an integral part of the Events team, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of the 2026 User Conference, the world’s largest gathering of geospatial professionals, attracting over 20,000 attendees. Work alongside experienced corporate events professionals and contribute directly to high-impact projects that shape this monumental event.
Key Responsibilities and Projects:
Interns will contribute to various critical aspects of conference management, with projects that may include:
- Coordinating large-scale food and beverage programs to ensure a seamless experience for thousands of attendees.
- Assisting with event content development and meticulous agenda management.
- Supporting comprehensive sponsorship and exhibit programs, engaging with partners and showcasing industry innovations.
- Managing critical conference logistics to ensure smooth operations before, during, and after the event.
Education and Other Requirements:
We are seeking highly motivated students who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at an accredited university in the United States.
- Majoring in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
- Undergraduate candidates must be in junior or senior standing.
- Able to complete a 12-week internship commencing in May or June 2026.
- Possess strong writing, communication, and research skills.
- Experience with social media platforms is a plus.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $28-33 per hour.
