Job Description: Summer Engineering Intern
This 12-week summer internship provides opportunities to work closely with experienced engineers on various engineering assignments. Interns will gain practical experience and fundamental knowledge of the company’s operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct limited-scope engineering work under the supervision of engineers in one or more of the following areas:
• Hardware Design
• Hardware Testing
• Quality Assurance
• Material Management
• Software and Systems
• Carry out basic work instructions to build foundational understanding of the company and acquire new skills.
• Conduct limited-scope testing under engineer supervision.
• Complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Gather and assemble data for engineers.
• Potentially contribute to research in specific fields.
• Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under engineer supervision.
• Assist engineers with design details.
• Develop strong interpersonal skills and professional networking abilities.
• Perform diverse tasks to familiarize oneself with engineering staff, methods, programs, and practices.
• Support and uphold the company’s mission, values, and culture.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Industrial Engineering
• Diligence, hard work, and a quick learning aptitude
Physical Requirements:
• Lifting up to 20 lbs. up to 25% of the time.
• Walking: up to 25% of the time.
• Climbing, bending, standing, stooping: up to 10% of the time.
• Sitting: up to 75% of the time.
Additional Information:
