Job Description:

The City of New York, specifically the NYPD, is seeking UNDERGRADUATE college students for their 2025 Summer Internship Program. This is a 13-week program running between June and September 2025.

Interns will be placed in various NYPD commands, and assignments will be based on their major.

Intern Duties May Include:

• Preparation of spreadsheets and reports
• Research
• Statistical analysis
• Computer work requiring intermediate level computer skills and/or knowledge of specific applications and programs
• Accounting or bookkeeping duties
• Legal research and paralegal work
• Forensic science analysis and research
• Assistance with specific reengineering initiatives

Work Location: Various locations in New York City.

Hours/Shift: Full-Time; 35 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Must be a student matriculated in a college or a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year) as of June of the Program year.
• NOTE: Appointment to this title is only valid for the duration of the Program, June – August each year.
