2027 Summer Associate | Jackson Lewis P.C.

The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Familiarize yourself with the laws and regulations related to employment law.
• Assist with legal research, case analysis, and all phases of litigation.
• Draft legal memoranda and court filings for active cases.
• Review the status of employment law developments and prepare summaries and articles related to new legislation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be actively enrolled as a 2L for the 2026-2027 academic year in an ABA-accredited law school. A demonstrated and genuine interest in the field of Employment Law is also required for this role.
• Experience: Applicants should possess a record of strong academic performance throughout their legal studies. This program seeks individuals eager to gain practical experience in various facets of employment law.
• Skills: Excellent writing skills are critical for drafting legal documents and communications. Strong attention to detail is essential for meticulous research and analysis. Robust legal research abilities and the capacity for thorough case analysis are also expected.
