Job Description: Summer Associate Internship (Business Operations Analyst)
This is a 12-week, full-time, hybrid internship opportunity in Vienna, VA. The internship offers a competitive hourly rate of $38 – $46.
Responsibilities:
• Project Work: The Summer Associate will work on a 12-week project focused on enhancing marketing processes and outcomes. Possible projects include exploring improvements to marketing automation tools, identifying applications for AI in marketing, or assessing large business processes within the Marketing Department. The specific project will be determined based on department needs and enterprise focus.
• Analytical Support: The intern will provide reporting and analytical support within a SCRUM team.
• Project Leadership: The Summer Associate will lead ad hoc reporting and analytical projects of low to medium complexity, with visibility to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Currently pursuing a graduate degree (MS, MBA, etc.) or PhD in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to apply them in practical settings.
• Familiarity with SQL or Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Tableau and/or PowerBI), including generating data from relational databases/data warehouses.
• Exposure to Agile working methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including direct team members, business units, and cross-departmental colleagues.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic knowledge of financial services.
• Familiarity with fundamental statistical theory and methodologies.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Pega Platform or Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
• Understanding of general marketing concepts, measurement, and tracking.
• Experience developing business requirements and/or business process diagrams.
• Experience developing business processes, definitions, KPIs, and/or optimization.
• Familiarity with SAS or SPSS suite of products (JMP, Modeler, Statistics).
• Experience working with SharePoint.
