Job Description:
Tucker Ellis is offering a 10-week summer program (typically starting in May) for 2L law students in their Cleveland office. The program aims to provide a realistic view of practicing law at Tucker Ellis.
Key aspects of the Summer Associate Mentorship Program:
• Mentorship: Law students are paired with experienced attorney mentors and writing coaches.
• Exposure to Diverse Legal Work: Introduction to a wide range of litigation and transactional legal work.
• Hands-on Experience:
• Attending court hearings and deal closings.
• Observing depositions, witness interviews, and client meetings.
• Performing research and due diligence.
• Drafting motions, deposition outlines, and contracts.
• Focus on Relationships: The program emphasizes fostering strong relationships within the firm and its communities.
